"Before you, Bella, my life was like a moonless night. Very dark, but there were stars, points of light and reason. ...And then you shot across my sky like a meteor. Suddenly everything was on fire; there was brilliancy, there was beauty. When you were gone, when the meteor had fallen over the horizon, everything went black. Nothing had changed, but my eyes were blinded by the light. I couldn’t see the stars anymore. And there was no more reason, for anything."

February in Review

Despite being the shortest month of the year, I still managed to read nine books in February. That's one more than last month, and fits in perfectly with my goal of reading 100 books this year. If I continue the trend and read eight books in March I will be a quarter of the way to my goal and will have read one more book then last years total twelve month combination. I read some great books this month, including the first in the Harry Potter series. I'm really excited to have finally gotten into this series and I'm looking forward to completing the series before the new movie hits theaters.

Work wise, I still have a job despite all of the rumors that are swirling around the building. I'm hoping in the next month we will finally hear something about what is going on with the buy out. I need to let some of the stress go because it's not helping me in my daily life, and it's definitely not helping us have a baby.

I'm really looking forward to spring and I'm ready for winter to be over. I'm ready to sit down with a cold one and watch the dogs run around in the back yard. I'm ready to grill hotdogs and have picnics. To be honest...weeding flower beds never sounded so good.

Wow - 10 books for such a short month...that's great! Enjoy all this reading time while you have it....a baby won't help that, LOL.

Are you going to read more Harry Potter in March? :)

Michele,

I know everyone keeps telling me to get my reading in now because once we do have a baby I won't get much reading done. I'm a little worried about it...lol :)

Katie,

I already picked up the second one to start and I hope to get maybe the that and the third one done in March. They are really good!

I didn't think I'd get much time to read when I had my baby...but now that she's a little older (10 months) and on a pretty regular schedule, I find time! And I read a lot on my breaks at work too :)

I'm excited for you to read the HP books! :)
